Boa village is a modern and chic restaurant in Civil lines in Delhi. It is not very far from GTB Nagar which should be your everyday hangout spot if you are a college student. BOA Village is a modern restaurant that has picked up taste and flavour from traditional cooking and has infused it into its super modern dishes and food. BOA - Best of Asian , has some of the best Asian cuisine you can try in town. They have Japanese, Korean, Chinese and Asian cuisines. They have some of the best momos in town as well. Their food goes along the lines of other restaurants like Pa Pa Ya, Yautcha, and other modern cuisine restaurants, but it beats their food by a huge margin in my eyes. This is specifically because its prices are much lower than the food at these places. Budget prices, great food, what else can you ask for?

For all those who know little about Asian cuisine and are interested in trying it, should surely visit. This place is a great starter if you want to be introduced to new cuisine and great taste.

Ambience and food

The restaurant is a great place to hang out. It has two stories and is beautifully lit with dim lights inside. The ambience is great. They have an indoor section and an outdoor section. Even in winters, they put out heaters in their outdoor area so that it remains warm. The music is nice and light and it is the perfect atmosphere you can binge your food on. The food is pure drool worthy material.

When I went, I tried their Tibetan Thupka with noodles. This had three options, so we took the one with vegetables. This dish was amazing and it had a great flavour to it. Trust me, one bowl will fill you over. I have never had a portion of Thupka which is so generous in its serving. I had also ordered their Tandoori Broccoli Flower. The portion was super huge and these were some of the biggest broccolis I had had. It was prepared with a lot of flavour and was super tasty. I thought that the broccolis were imported because they were that huge in size.

I am not a mushroom person, but I was curious and I wanted to try their assorted mushrooms with bamboo shoot and light soy. I ordered for it and I had no clue which mushrooms I was eating, all I know is that it tasted very great. Before going to BOA, I did not know that Bamboo shoot is a fancy thing which is difficult to find except in China. I still don't know if this is a fact, but this is what I heard. I also tried their chilli oyster udon noodles which were fantastic. I had obviously over ordered and considering the large servings, I was not able to finish everything.

I went there with a friend, who was smarter than me and she ordered little compared to me. She ordered a chicken california roll and shared everything else with me. She was utterly impressed by their flavours too.

interiors

The vibe goes super well with the food. This place looks like it is super expensive because of the interiors and the sort of food it offers on the menu.

Costing

But it is not that expensive, it costs INR 1500 for two people. This is a giveaway compared to how much the quantity of food would cost at Pa Pa Ya or Yautcha. This definitely has more options in food too. You can check out their entire menu on Zomato here:
