Yesterday on day one of my tour to amritsar, out of all the tiredness of the travel, i happened to visit the famous golden temple, i was really astonished, the place, the environment, the beauty, the peace, the people, their selfless behavior completely making it a place worth visit. The city decorated in the premises of the temple area has numerous eye-catching views. Similar pattern for each shop and their arrangement makes it a different civilization in the heart of the city. The langar arrangement , the food, their systematic way of arrangement all makes it worth. I reached there by 9:00 pm stayed there overnight(as they pose no restrictions on staying in the open premises of the temple) and kept exploring the city there. After the amazing trip at day 1, this was the day when rest of the amritsar roads were meant to be explored. Moving early from the hotel room which was situated right in front of the gol bagh gate, we moved aheading towards the direction of patriotism starting with, " THE JALLIANWALA BAGH" ,Place where hundreds of Indians were brutally murdered by General Dyer. After sprinkling patriotic thoughts at that place we moved forward for WAGAH BORDER,ATTARI (Please have food in between as it will take long once you reach there). We reached wagah border sharp at 4:00 pm and the environment there was quite astonishing, the crowd, the cheer, the enthusiasm, the energy will leave you amazed. Ending the trip we went to DURGIANA TEMPLE had rest there and then went back to our hotel which was located at walking distance from the temple.
