Well this place was on my bucket list since ages as I had long wished to go high up in the sky in a hot air balloon & see the world from the basket of the balloon and ride the hills on a dirt bike.

So first things first.

1. Booked on the Turkish Airlines from Istanbul Ataturk Airport which was a little expensive but I still chose Turkish as they were flying from the same Ataturk Airport whereas all other low cost options were flying from an airport which was around 90 minutes away from Ataturk Airport.

2. Landed at Nevsehir Airport on the flight from Istanbul.

2. Had booked a hotel which gave complimentary airport pick-up.

3. Reached the main town and hired a dirt bike & the journey started.

This day I woke up early, really early for completing my life long dream of sitting in a hot air balloon. Cappadocia is like the capital of hot air balloons across the globe.

1. Please ensure that you book your flight of hot air balloon with a reputed company as good companies have good balloon pilots and believe me if your pilot is friendly you would enjoy your flight. My pilot even let me fly the hot air balloon for a few minutes and also let me blow the torch.

2. Always ensure to book a flight with less no. of Co-travellers as this will give you the freedom to roam about in the hot air balloon basket.
