Chakrata has abundance of conifers, rhododendrons and oaks. The red rhododendrons are the most abundantly found in this region. If you are planning to visit this place don't forget to visit most attractions places near Chakrata.
Tiger fall :This waterfall is one of the highest direct waterfalls in Uttarakhand. It is 20 km from Chakrata and from my hotel it was 12 km but unfortunately i couldn't witness it by my eye due to shortage of time but will surely visit this place in my next trip .If someone interested in trekking then they can choose the option of trekking from chakrata till Tiger fall which is almost 5 km.Tiger fall is still far away from casual visitor as its not developed yet and so many people are not aware of this place,but i think trekkers and travellers will love this place as it so peaceful and beautiful.
Chilmiri : Its a famous sunset point at 4 km from main Chakrata market which will offer you one of the best views of sunset. if ur at hill and not witnessing sunset then you have missed the most beautiful part of Mountains .The terk start from chakrata taxi stand
This place is best for backpackers and trekker ho look for places with natural beauty,peace and,untouched by commercialization.I personally love these kind of places. Hope soon ill travel again to this place and explore more.
