Four of us started on Saturday morning from bangalore taking a car for rent. It jus takes 4 hrs to reach chickmagaluru as the roads are in good condition. By the time reached mullayanagiri it was noon and no one bothered to have lunch. The beauty of the nature filled our eyes and stomach;) (bajji & tea shops were opened) spent good time and got down from the peak to chickmagaluru. From there we went to temple which is 1500 yrs old still well maintained. Done for the day. Had nice food and rested in cousin house. Next day we visited a holy place baba budangiri, near by manikyadhara falls (u ll get to see water in the falls only after rainy season otherwise its jus a shows), taking bath in that water is considered holy. So keep a spare of clothes to change. Climate was too cold. We left chickmagaluru after having lunch. While back on our way to Bangalore we visited belur and halebidu.
