So like many out of indian IT slavery system I too ended up in the Boiling pits of Middle East . But when life gives you lemons you should add some vodka and gulp it neat.
So lets start from the top, if you had ever felt like a thing can be both beautiful and very excruciating, you have never been to Corniche.
The marine drive road of Doha might be very dangerous if you have recently broken up. The walks might remind you of holding your girlfriend's hand on the beautiful nights. But the bloody temperature will remind you of the rage you felt on being dumped and you will go back to your hotel to cry.
So if you are done with Corniche where you might end up in Souq Waqif. The most beautiful view that might remind of Aladin's bazar.
And lets say when you are done crying about your loneliness , and you are still feeling sad about your love life you should steer clear of the next two places.
Doha has an obsession with Venice. A whole mall built on the whole concept. The Vilaggio is extremely beautiful. Fake, skies and the very realistic fake atmosphere will be extremely mesmerizing , like all the beautiful lies your ex told. You would know all of it is not real, but very very beautiful.
And the next place is like the girl you thought was the one. The perfect place, picturesque and colourful. But all that glamour and glitz even though seemingly real, always remember it is not the real thing.
And if you are in Doha and you missed the desert, it is like you went a beautiful date and forgot to kiss her goodbye. The desert safari is an sight unimaginable, unforgettable.
There are not much many things a normal tourist would enjoy in Doha. But here are a few that might make your stay little bit bearable.
