Cinnamon Lodge Habarana was the luxury resort we stayed in during our North - Central heritage circuit leg of the Sri Lanka Trip. It is around 171 kms away from Colombo and 150 kms from the international airport. The location is very good and provide easy access to lot of important destinations.

It turned out to be a very advantageous location for us to cover all the intended destinations. The hotel/resort is a 5 star property nestled amidst beautiful greenery. The staff were extremely helpful and polite. It has all amenities expected out of a luxury property. The rooms were well appointed and large. The property is just besides the Habarana lake and one can enjoy stunning sunsets in the evening. The hotel also provides a number of activities which can be enquired and booked at the travel desk. Activities like elephant safari, cooking classes, bicycle tours, village tours etc can be availed.
Another good thing about the property is that the pool is operational till late and one can taken a dip even late in the evening.
They provide good buffet options which include a lot of veg and nonveg to suit multi cultural palates. The dessert spread is quite elaborate.
