Hello again! We talked almost a year ago about humans battling against some half living, half dead RNA assisted creature.
Well, I did get back to normal for a couple of months I guess, some time before and after the beginning of 2021. But then, I could sense some sort of ineffectual negligence and overconfidence among my beloved citizens.
I also got to hear that this "nature's weapon" changed its structure a bit (yes, mutation, a 'tinute' change. That's what I'm talking about). Though the change was frivolous, its effect was, rather, IS, pretty enormous. No kidding. Have you seen this everyone's favourite, happening JM road THIS empty before? The second big lockdown they call it. Phew.
My heart aches for the people who are traumatised by all of this.! I really don't wanna go into the intricacies of lack of Oxygen availability and hospital beds and medicines. 🥺 I totally understand that wearing a multiple layered face mask (damn. Please wear it correctly man! It's not meant for your aesthetics, but safety 😷) whenever literally out of your doorstep and staying indoors constantly is legit a struggle for many.
But to see me breathe like before, lively in my quintessential spirit and charm, YOU GOTTA DO THIS! Here's a snippet of an empty Tulsibaug market. This area USED TO appear insanely scintillating after 6.30 PM or so! (Major missing! 💭)
The famous square (Alka talkies chowk)! Yet another abuzz location full of ballyhoo, especially during Ganeshotsav. This USED TO have a super consistent flow of vehicles plying to and from almost every major street within me! (काय झालंय हे? 😞 Some things are BEST expressed in the colloquial lingo)
Okay. That's just your beautiful city venting out a bit. A couple of days ago, I actually felt slightly relieved to know that the patient count has reduced considerably. Keep it going. Y'all got this Punekars (and of course, everyone else out there, from my fellow city friends all over the country/world!)
