Day 1: Arrival Kilimanjaro International Airport pick up by our driver and  vehicle drive to Arusha. Bed and Breakfast accommodation will be at Outpost Lodge (www.outposttanzania.com).

Day 2: Around 08:30am leave Arusha drive to Tarangire National Park. Game viewing in the park later head to the Lodge for hot lunch, game drive continues in the afternoon with option of returning early to relax at the pool side. Dinner and overnight at the Tarangire Safari Lodge overlooking the Tarangire River (www.tarangiresafarilodge.com)

Day 3: Early morning game drive at sunrise if interested. Breakfast at the lodge then continue game view on the way out of the park. Drive to Lake Manyara National Park for more game viewing. Packed lunch will be provided at the picnic site. In the afternoon exit the park and drive up the escarpment of the Great Rift Valley. Dinner and overnight will be at Bougainvillea Safari Lodge. Day 4: After breakfast drive passing Ngorongoro to Serengeti National Park for game viewing. Packed lunch will be provided. Dinner and overnight will be at Serengeti Wilderness Camp (www.tanzaniawildernesscamps.com)

Day 5: Full day game viewing in the Serengeti National Park. Hot or packed lunch will be provided.  Dinner and overnight will be at the Serengeti Wilderness Camp.

Day 6: Early morning game drive can be arranged with your driver the day before. Breakfast at the camp after which, you continue with game drive with packed lunch in the park or hot lunch at the camp. In the afternoon continue game drive towards Ngorongoro. Dinner and overnight at Rhino Lodge in the Ngorongoro forest (www.ngorongoro.cc)

Day 7: After breakfast descend about 600m into the crater. Game view in the crater, packed lunch will be served at the picnic site beside the hippo pool. Later in the evening ascend from the crater drive to Karatu. Dinner and overnight will be at Bougainvillea Safari Lodge.

Day 8: After breakfast drive to Gibb's Farm enter into the Ngorongoro Conservation for walking to the waterfalls up to the elephant cave (You will get a ranger guide). Thereafter back to Karatu for hot lunch at Bougainvillea Safari Lodge. Later drive back to Arusha and check in for dinner at Outpost Lodge (www.outposttanzania.com). 

Day 9: At agreed time with the driver pick up at Outpost and transfer to Moshi for overnight at Ameg Lodge (www.ameglodge.com) bed and breakfast.

Day 10: Met by a representative for briefing and checking equipment then off to start the hike. Marangu/Machame route  6 days

Day 11 to 14: Hiking

Day 15: Descend from the mountain, and transferred to Moshi. Bed and Breakfast accommodation will be at Ameg Lodge.

Day 16: Around Moshi, at agreed time transfer to Kilimanjaro International Airport for your International flight back home. We assume this will be your departure day.

Price starting from USD 4,350 per person sharing (Valid for travel until 30th November 2014 T&C apply)

Costs above include:

  • Park entry fees
  • Vehicle entrance with Crater service fee
  • Ground transportation for the entire trip
  • Lunch boxes
  • Map to the visited parks and 1litre of drinking water per person per day
  • Accommodation and meals during the safari as outlined above
  • Transfers: KIA – Arusha – Moshi – KIA
  • Two nights in Moshi at Ameg Lodge before and after the hike
  • Two nights in Arusha at Outpost Lodge before and after Safari
