So, after taking the tickets from the counter to enter the Palace, I stepped in with my tour guide. And we were welcomed so courteously by a few photographers of the City Palace, who click the pictures of the visitors with various pagidis which specify their culture. And if you like to get a hard copy, you can collect them after your visit by paying a certain amount of 350 to 1500 rupees of various sizes. Yes, everything is payable inside out of the City Palace.

Normally, after seeing the vast premises of this Palace, any visitor gets confused about what to click, whom to click and where to click. Hence, we end up clicking every single detail, which is good, but most of the time, in the process, we forget to get ourselves pictured at the most important spots of the place. But, during my visit to this Palace, I have almost covered all the spots.

You must get pictured yourself at the entrance gates of the Palace, which are made of blending material of Brass, copper, and Iron. Those gates looks too royal for an entrance. Elephants, Horses, Tigers, and Peacocks specify the royalty of Rajasthan. And in the City Palace, you can find the sculpted elephant statues and horse statues. Get clicked right beside them. They look so beautiful and so detailed. And most importantly, if you wanna look gorgeous enough, get yourself clicked at the Peacock gate. These four entrance and exit doors of Sarvato Bhadra and Chandra Mahal courtyard, are truly made of sculpted walls and rocks, painted with all the hues of peacock colors. You will be stunned after seeing these extremely pretty doors.

Sarvato Bhadra Courtyard used to be an entertaining premise for the private audience and guests of the Maharajas of Jaipur. They used to conduct, singing and dancing performances in the whole place surrounded by Pink walls and pink pillars. Amidst the beautiful architecture, the royal chandeliers, the hush of the visitors and the world's largest silver vessels which are exhibited in the courtyard, you must surely get yourself clicked.

There are many galleries inside various mahals of the Palace. You are only allowed to click the photographs in the Photography gallery where the pictures from old times to recent times are exhibited. You are not allowed to click pictures in the textile gallery, arms and armor gallery, painting gallery and transport gallery. To take pictures at various places in the Palace, it takes at least two hours to explore and know about the place.
