I reached Srinagar by road only to discover that the entire valley was in lock-down due to a shooting between military forces and extremists in Shopian. Riding further on a motorcycle in that situation didn't seem like a bright idea, so I spent my time doing some interesting things with some cool people in Srinagar itself. Obviously, a boat ride in the Dal Lake had to be a part of it all.
