The skies are so magnificent, none can compete its magnificence. End of the trip, we all take a moment to be one with nature. We call it a day here in Cherrapunjee and head out to chill.

The above pictures depicts it all. The winding roads to Cherrapunjee is one of the best cycling routes in the country. We did it through "Guwahati Bicycle Rentals", who arranged a pick-up van and arranged the GIANT bicycles for us.

We started our ride from Mylliem, such a quaint lovely little place where we geared ourselves up with few bites of the local pork momos and black tea infused with ginger.

The whole time we got ourselves pedalling, we were transformed into a different world. The green valleys and the beauty of the gorges making us wonder at their depths, we took in all we could. Stopping by for photographs and snacks umple number of times, we covered the whole distance in a matter of 4 hours.

We then reached our destination Cherrapunjee in Sohra and after depositing the cycles in the pick-up van, headed for the dorm in Sai-Mika. The night sky was filled with stars and we enjoyed our few hours of freedom and solitude and finally led our bums rest for the night.
