This 1,100-year-old fort, strategically set at a 100 ft elevation just 3 hours drive from Delhi & 7km outside Alwar in Dadhikar Village, offers a tranquil retreat and sweeping vistas of the surrounding countryside. Bought for INR 50 Lacs in 2007 by Ramji Kaushik, a hotel management grad with no money and big dreams & penchant for restoration.. this fort is the perfect example of what dreams and determination can lead to.. Dadhikar is definitely a highly recommended place for a weekend getaway near Delhi !!
