Day 1 was very special for me because I was preparing for my first ride on my Dominar 400 (2019) Green colour. After a terrible experience of my Royal Enfield Thunderbird 350cc during my Mumbai-Kanyakumari Ride last year same time. Now also I was feeling nervous and tried to stay calm and patient and was preparing myself to face the difficulties, if any. I started exactly as planned @3:30am in the morning as i wanted to reach my native place in Konkan ie. Hodawade, Dist. Sindhudurg before it gets dark as nowadays it is getting dark early. And i also reached exactly till 4:30pm in the evening but the full day was special for me. Bike performed superb and beyond expectations. But as u all know i dont write my blogs just to tell you only about the bike performance but also my experience and people i met during my ride. Likewise I met a person Hardworking and pure by heart. Yes I said Hardworking and Pure By Heart. Hardworking because he was working part-time as a delivery person at swiggy and part time as a Gym instructor in Chembur area and resides at Karjat and he commutes on his Activa. This shows he is hardworking but don't show how he is pure by heart. Yes you guys must be thinking kya paka raha hai. Bol de jaldi yaar. Hers his story _This guys wife is earning very well as she is working in Central Government Provident Fund office at BKC but still he is working so hard because there is a reason behind it. He has 11 stray dog's of whom he and his wife takes care like their kid's. And the main thing is that all are medically ill. Out of those 11dogs, one dog is injured terribly a car went on his back so he was not able to walk so he crawls and they make him wear diaper continuously. This guy takes all his dogs to a private doctor for vaccination, gives them bath, He cares for them so much that his wife before buying clothes for herself she buys clothes for all 11of her babies. All of the dogs are very adorable. I asked him how do u manage at home. And he said thay For the dogs he has bought a second hand WagonR so that he can take them to the doctor. Because private doctor charges a lot for home visit. He said he works for his babies and his wife works for their home. I was happily surprised. And one more shocking answer he gave me when i asked him whether there are any kid's at his house. He said they are already having their babies so they don't wish to plan any baby just to grow their family. And because he is having 11dogs every where people take objection so they shift to other place and now currently they are staying in a poultry farm near Karjat-Murbad highway. Guys just imagine his wife is traveling from Karjat-Murbad Highway to BKC daily and he is traveling to Chembur daily on his Activa. Though i love to ride bike but i also won't travel daily if I were in his place. i m amazed to hear on his and his wife's determination to take care of each other and the 11 babies who are all are injured critically and ailing. When his wife goes to office that time he goes to work as Gym instructor and when in the evening she comes home after work and a exhaustive traveling he goes to work for swiggy. It's a salute for both of them. Then we left together. He wished me all the best for the ride. I just gave him a hug as he was doing a great job which frankly speaking we all can't do and that too without expectations.
