Our first day spent well in exploring capital city. I hope you have read my blog of day 1. We enjoyed living in best hotel in city located at elite area of Fort Kochin.
Second day, we were very excited because we were heading towards Alleppy - Venice of India. It was my wish to live in the houseboat so my friends inserted it in last moment. Though it is quite costly it's experience of life time which we eventually had and my friends thanked me later for it.
Towards Alleppy back waters we stopped at Alleppy beach. It was very sunny day. We spent some time on beach splashing waters like kids, soaking our legs in that salty water and taking photos. After some time we left for our final destination for the day.
We reached Alleppy at afternoon. Rijumon our driver left us there. He said he will come next day to pick us.
There was one lovely houseboat stationed at coast of the river. There were two men on the boat. One was operator and one was cook. They both were our host for a day.
We had welcome drink on our arrival. There was a big hall like area, where there was a dining table in the center and sitting arrangement at both sides of the boat. I liked it very much. They showed us our bedroom. The room was very nice. There was a window which was giving a view of the river. We were so happy after they left we locked door of our bedroom and danced in joy.
We arranged our luggage and came out. Now they took us on the boat ride. We got to see life of people living here. Every house was having small boat like people have bicycle at our side. Childern were going to school at other side by tiny boats. Some other small and big tourists boats were also floating there.

Mean time our food was getting ready. After some time , man operating boat brought us at the middle of the river somewhere. There was little land amid river water where he tied our boat. There we also got down for some pics. We took some pics also posing to operate a boat. Afterwards we enjoyed our food. Food was lovely.

Afterwards boat was slowly came again where it was stationed earlier. Boat staff told us to have a trail of village. Accordingly we got down and started to roam on the street which was parallel to the river. We communicated with the kids and had good time with them. Through them we got to know political views of the locality. Kerala is highly influenced by the communist thoughts. Kids views were very radical. After spending an evening there we returned back to boat.
Boat was started again, we were enjoying that blissful evening. After some time in evening snacks we got onion pakodas with garama garam chai which made me more happy. After that trail boat was again brought to the same spot. As it was darkening the men on boat covered whole boat with plastic sheet. At night we had dinner and went to sleep seeing our whole day photos.

That was all about our second day. I hope you enjoy my blogs. Please follow me for further upcoming content and travel inspiration.
