It was time to say goodbye to yet another location and ride to another destination which was Dalhousie. Before leaving for Dalhousie I booked my stay for two days at Zostel Dalhousie which is a hostel my choice of hostel for stay and not a hotel is mainly hostels been economical to the pocket while traveling, you get to meet people from different regions in India n overseas and lastly well this is my philosophy whenever one is traveling one should be spending the least in stay as you need a play to sleep in the night than why unnecessarily pay a bomb on your stay instead spend that money on food and places to explore. Dalhousie is located 121kms away from Dharamshala which calculates to 4hours of approximate ride thru bike. First day was not that eventful as started a bit late from Dharamshala so reached Dalhousie by 4pm and by the time I checked into the hostel and unpacked my luggage from my bike. By 5pm it started drizzling so any plans of going anywhere was nowhere in sight by the time it stopped drizzling it was around night time so ordered my food at the hostel cafe before going to sleep before playing a new card game known as Mafia. Next day got up a bit late had breakfast and by the time had my breakfast as been the monsoon season so again it started raining but this time it started raining like cats and dogs which again delayed me moving out of the hostel for good 6 hours. In order to pass time started playing game of monopoly and post that jenga. Finally rains stopped by 4:30pm and left for Dainkund temple which is located 18 kms from the hostel infact people go to trek from Daikund to Khajjiar via Jot pass. Reaching Dainkund was pretty picturesque passing thru some scenic views than after an hours drive to Dainkund finally reached post which I parked my bike there and trekked for another 2kms to reach Palani Mata temple which has the view of Mount Kailash as backdrop. Stayed at the temple site for good 20mins to to enjoy absolute silence and took some pictures. Came back from Dainkund after good 3hours returned to Dalhousie town and went to have dinner at Cafe Dalhousie less of a cafe type setup and more of a restaurant setup food was kinda ok. After kinda busy day came back to the hostel kinda late and than played game of Mafia at the Hostel.
