Started on the 3rd day of our Groups Leh-Ladakh 2019 trip from our hotel at Patnitop which was our overnight stay option towards our next destination to Sonmarg. A which started with a healthy breakfast at the hotel than with a bit of bikes health checkup. As the day progressed we started nearing our destination which also got us close to the picturesque view of the Jammu & Kashmir Valley. Crossed locations as Anantnag, Srinagar where our first pit stop was the Royal Enfield showroom as some bikes had to go through some fixing but the moment we reached Srinagar the heavens door opened and it started raining heavily for good two hours which also kinda delayed our movement from Srinagar. Finally left Srinagar at around 6:30pm after the bikes were fixed and rains got over couldn't do much there because of the delay but still we didn't leave Srinagar with disappointment as was exiting Srinagar with this great sunset that kinda lifted our spirits to reach our end destination Sonamarg. The initial road from Srinagar to Sonmarg is not that great as one has to go through some small hamlets which leads to narrow roads but still we guys managed it out and finally reaches our destination at 10:30pm with some great road patches, clear night sky and some good views of melting solidified ice walls on our way to Sonamarg.
