Day 1 :Reporting and Acclimatisation.


Receiving at Rumsu base camp. Registration and orientation. Acclimatisation walk to Naggar town, and then trek back to Rumsu base camp. The trek route from Naggar to Rumsu resort is very informative and interesting. The trek covers many famous places like “Gowrishankar temple” 11th century old shiva temple, Tripura sundari temple, Naggar castle and Roerich art gallery. Naggar's glory is reflected in many famous temples in the vicinity of Castle Fort. This old castle is a marvellous medieval building. A  further walk lead us to Tripura Sundari   temple  which is a beautiful example of  Pahadi style Temples . Later on one could also see Roerich Art Gallery on their way. Orientation regarding the trek will be given by the chief organiser in the evening. The orientation will cover information like ruck sack packing, marching/walking technique and general awareness about the trek route. Overnight stay at Rumsu.

Day 2 :  
We will start the early with a jeep ride from Rumsu to Behali dam. The trek route till frist day camp site, Mota Grahan is easy. It goes through some short but dense patches of forest. For the entire route Malana river keeps flowing on the right. Lunch break will be taken at Chota Grahan. The route from here is mostly plain with few ascends till Mota Grahan and goes throughout on the left side of Malana River. Overnight stay in tents at Mota Grahan campsite.

Day 3:
The trek to Bogdi from Mota Grahan is short, around 4 hours. Bogdi is basically the base camp for Dev Roopa. It takes around 3-4 hours to reach Dev Roopa from here.
By 12 we will reach Bogdi and for rest of the day we will relax at Bogdi camp site. Overnight stay in tents at Bogdi camp site.

Day 4:
After breakfast we will start our trek for Dev Roopa. There are 3 steep climbs of one hour each to reach Dev Roopa. The route runs parallel to a stream which comes from Dev Roopa.
Dev Roopa is a very sacred place for the locals. Locals bring their God for giving them the holy bath. So care should be take that no littering happens here. The whole place is around 4 to 5 football grounds size and is perfectly plain because of which the water runs making loops and curves.
Packed lunch will be done at Dev Roopa. We will then descend for Bogdi camp site. Overnight stay in tents at Bogdi camp site.

Day 5:
This day we will start early with the descend after breakfast. It takes around 5 to 6 hours to complete the whole descend till Malana village. We will take break for lunch at Chota Grahan. Jeep ride for Rumsu base camp from Dam 2 of Malana. Departure from Rumsu base camp.
