Digital detox should be introduced in our schedules off late considering the way people have gone addicted to mobile phones these days.
This happened to the key USP for this resort as it's very remote. Situated in Sakleshpur , Karnataka . Tusk and dawn is remotely place in the mid of the jungle and you have to park your car and travel in the resort's jeep to reach to its heart. 4X4 vehicles can reach there and it's around 5 -6 hours drive from bangalore .
The area so remote , we had to place our beers in the nearby steam enroute the cottage to cool it naturally. The food is good and authentic .
You can visit the nearby waterfall, a safari to the jungle which shares its boundary with the resort . You can also go to a normal trek uphill to the peak, which is lush greenlands and gives a remarkable view of the western ghats which actually start from sakleshpur.
Elephants, bisons and other wild life animals are often seen near the resort and you might get lucky to see one . Thought advised not to roam around casually in the nearby place , specially in the night . Beware of leeches.
