Hi all, today I will share my trip memory of Pelling with you. It is a small town situated in the northeastern Indian state of Sikkim, at the foothills of Mount Kanchanjangha.
I have started my journey from Darjeeling. You can start from NJP railway station or Bagdogra Airport.
In early morning at around 8 am From Darjeeling I booked a share car for jorethang. Its take around 2 hours to reach jorethang. From there again you will get share car for pelling. By evening I reached there.(You can book full car also as your preference).
After checked in to the hotel I went for a walk . But there is no street light so you should carry tourch. By 8 pm every local shops will be closed.
Next day I wake up at 6am, Just looked at outside from my window and it was magical. The golden Kanchanjangha is changing colour in every moment.
At around 7 am I went for discovering places in and around. I booked a car for that.
Places to see in pelling:
1) Khechiperi lake: Local’s also named it as wishing lake.
2) Kanchanjangha waterfall.
3) Singshore Bridge : This is the highest hanging bridge in Sikkim and second highest in Asia.
4) Rimbi Waterfalls
5) Sangay Falls
6) Helipad
It was a Full day Trip. Next day morning I took a shared car for NJP..Back to Home…
