Diu is a small town in union territory of Daman and Diu, India. It is 350km away from ahmedabad city and just one hour journey from Mumbai city. You can go directly to Mumbai and from there you can hire taxi / state transport buses for Diu.
We have stayed in budget hotel. We get room facing sea. If you love beaches and want to relax with family than Diu is perfect place.

Diu fort is built by Portuguese and made of sandstone. Naida Caves are man made caves. Indiana Jones Hollywood movie was shoot here. Very nice and peaceful place. Nagoa beach is very much popular in tourist. Nice and clean beach and also other water sports activities are organized here. The water is so clean you can easily take bath with family in it and have fun. Gangeshwar Mahadev temple is an ancient temple of lord shiva and situated on seashore. The church in diu are built during Portuguese time and architecture are same. St. Paul church is quiet popular in tourist.
