Double Decker Living Root Bridges- A dream come true
Root Bridges are a common sight in Meghalaya - this one being the unique among them was a must visit ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Handmade by Khasi and Jaintia people, these are made from the extending Ariel roots of Rubber Fig tree.

This was the result of climbing down 3700 steps. It is suggestible to stay in one of the home stays near the Bridges and trek up the next day, which also gives a chance to explore the Rainbow waterfalls and Natural Swimming Pool just a few kilometres from the bridges.
