Day 1

Venice - "City of Water," "City of colorful buildings," "City of Bridges," "The Floating City," and "City of Canals."

There is a destination that I always wanted to hold in my arms. It’s regarded as the most romantic city of the world. So I decided to have my honeymoon in Venezia. It’s Venice, the floating city built on an ancient lagoon along the Adriatic Sea in northeastern Italy. Here I’m sharing itinerary and places to visit in Venice.

Venice is most romantic in winters with the sparkling colors of glassy arts and crafts and refined embroidered items. More than that, a visitor can indulge in the floating and happy feeling of perpetual love in Venice.

Flights arrive at Marco Polo airport, from which you can take the water bus into town or opt for the small luxury of a water taxi, which will drop you off as close to your hotel as the canals permit. We took 3 days pass from San Marco airport which provides unlimited access to water bus to visit venice and adjacent areas.

There is a separate ticket for conveyance between San marco airport to Venice city. Normally people take hotel near airport but if you want to feel the ambiance and the surrounding for which venice is popular make your stay within venice in locations such as S.Marco square , St Marks Basilica , Venezia Sanat Lucia,Lido etc.

Me and my husband smiled as we stepped in on san marco port because we then understand the reason why people can’t deny the passionate beauty of Venice. In the light sunshine of winters, Venice was so fantastic with blue color from the Grand Canal, the sound of visitors pulling their luggage and chatting, and of course the aromatic smell of foods in neighboring restaurants that have been attracting guests for ages.

We stayed at HOTEL S.MARCO. This is the central location of venice located at san marco square.

After having breakfast which was complimentary to us we stepped out from hotel and walked on the streets of San marco. It was the Christmas month where street shops were beautifully decorated with lights and colorful flowers. We clicked some photos around the St.Mark Basilica. Frequency of water bus is good but if you want to feel the venice I would suggest you to walk around the places from port to port.

Day 2

MURANO-BURANO-VENEZIA SANTA

MURANO ISLAND-

We enjoyed a half-day excursion from Venice to the islands of Murano and Burano in the Venetian lagoon. Our tour starts out from St. Mark's Square, where we boarded a boat that took us to the northern part of the lagoon.

During the crossing, some commentary about the area was provided in English, Spanish, French, German, and Italian.

Murano Island was the first stop, a place that’s world-famous for its glass production. We had a chance to visit a glass factory and observe a local artist giving shape to a work of art in glass. Afterwards, we got some free time to explore the island and took in the picturesque views.

BURANO ISLAND-

Burano, one of the most beautiful and peaceful islands in the lagoon. Burano is well known for its colorful houses and long tradition of lace production. We had enough free time here for a walk around the island to enjoy the peaceful atmosphere, before the boat returns to Venice.

VENEZIA SANTA LUCIA-

It is the central station of Venice, northeast of Italy. It is the border and located at the northern edge of Venice's historic city . Surrounded by grand canals ,beautiful buildings and bridges, Also , You'll find good food stations there for vegetarians and non-vegetarians too.

Day 3
