We boarded a flight from Kolkata to Singapore and from Singapore airport we booked a cab to go to Marina bay port for heading towards our 4 days journey to Dream cruise.
Genting Dream Cruise
The entry to the cruise demands standing in a long queue for immigration and loading of luggages. Literally speaking it was quite a tiredsome but once we entered the cruise it was serafic. The glittering lights, the studded ambience of the cruise, the smiling face of the staff members, the entrance to the sea facing beautiful room was just flabbergasting. It made me feel to just sit beside the window and see the depth and calmness of the sea. At that moment only I took the opportunity to thank my bro to plan this awesome vacay which I knew is going to be more astounding. After relaxing for some time we just thought to take a glance of the herculean cruise and it was a treat to watch so many people at one place, some chilling in the swimming pool and jacuzzi, some dancing with the troupe on music, kids enjoying in the water park and play area, some just sitting near the window and chilling with food & drinks, and we just staring at the people enjoying every bit of life.

Its a say if your tummy is brimful you are chuffed. The 24*7 culinary was so yum with all the different cuisines- Indian vegetarian- non-vegetarian,Italian,chinese,mexican continental and with lots and lots of options that with every bite I used to feel the gratification of sitting beside the sea and keep on eating the delicious cuisines. Different types of fruits, juices, tea, coffee, ice creams, pastries, was an add-on.
The stay at any place results heavenly when you are apart from your home but still you feel the comfort, leisure, pleasure,and find it enticing. This time the place in the paraphernalia was Genting Dream Cruise.
Everyday the cruise group comes up with fascinating activities to engross the mates and if you feel like boresome and confined that surely you ll not, it gives you the option to go out and enjoy the beauty of land and sea. The cruise lands in four different ports in 4 days i.e Day 1 Penang Day 2 Phuket Day 3 Langkawi Day 4 Port klang It totally depends on you whether you wanna go out or stay in the cruise. The cruise lands on a particular port at 10A.M and the return time for the people going out as prescribed before used to be around 7 or 8 PM. On day 1 We decided to stay in the cruise and be in a relaxation mode to enjoy the amenities inside the cruise.
On day 2 We decided to go out and explore the beauty of Phuket. We booked a cab and went to Big Buddha, the giant buddha image made of white jade marbles that shines in the sun. It is one of the best and busiest attraction in Phuket. Wat Chalong, the beautifully decorated temple with infinite reflections from hundreds of tiny glittering glass pieces on its many pagodas. The beauty, peace and calmness inside the temple was not letting us go outside in the hot and sunny day. But we have to head towards the beach so we came out andat that time the cold coconut water was the sigh of relief in the hotty afternoon. Patong beach, the last destination for one day trip to phuket cannot be completed without visiting the beach. The clean blue sea, the white sand, the picturesque view, the lively atmosphere, the adventurous activities, makes this island a queen of beaches and we enjoyed a every bit of it making our trip to Phuket joyful and memorable .
On Day 3 Though we have decided the trip to be leisure but we could not resist ourself to reconnoitre Langkawi Island, an archipalego made of 104 islands on the west coast of Malaysia, surrouded by turquoise sea, the interior of main island is a mixture of picturesque paddy fields and jungle clad hills. We could not explore much of Langkawi as we got quite late and had to wait for the ferry service provided by the cruise. We booked a cab and headed towards
Langkawi boat tour which includes boat ride to mangrove forest, caves and aquarium. The boat ride and the view was just amazing and invigorating.
Panatai Cenang beach, the most popular long beach with its gentle curve is the prettiest beach in Malaysia. The white sand, palms and coconut trees fringing the beach, beautiful view of ocean and island, various electrifying water sport activities, swimming in the neat and clean water, sunbathing makes it a must visit beach of Malaysia and spending quality of time in this beach made our short tour to Langkawi island bounteous.
On Day 4 Its time for Cruise only.. Whole night playing Roulette in Casino, waking up late in the morning, lunch, indulging in indoor activities like carrom, table tennis, billiards, chess, golf, roaming in the cruise and getting photogenic for the pics. Then time for water sports, swimming and jacuzzi,watching live dancing shows, dinner, night for bollywood DJ in discotheque. Inshort full day captivated in the enthralling activities of cruise.
Cost -The cost per person was Rs.38500/- for 4days and 5 nights which I found quite eminent.
My view
Its a human nature if we are spending money on anything we want the optimum attainment from the same and if we are spending money on our vacation we want it to be superlative and quintessential. The stay in Genting Dream Cruise was one of them. Atleast once in a life time one should experience the stay in cruise, believe me its going to be mind boggling.
