Day 1

As sun was setting down so we moved to Gun Hill. Either you can use cable-car ride or on your foot. It is at 30 minutes walking distance. Gun hill point is around 2000 mts from sea level and 2nd highest point in Mussoorie after Lal Tibba. Gun Hill is favorite place for viewing picturesque Himalayan range and Doon Valley. The scene from the top of this hill is a panoramic view of the snow-clad Himalayan ranges right beside the widespread Doon Valley and a full view of the hill station of Mussoorie. We enjoyed till sunset. Stay for few hours and enjoy the mesmerizing view of Himalayas and Doon valley and came down again on foot. We were totally tired and exhausted so we decided to go to our hotel and relaxed for few minutes. Later in night, we went for Dinner and then again went to MG road. We stayed there till mid-night and enjoyed the view of doon valley and then we came back to our hotel's Room. Next day we started our day with Aloo paratha from Paratha House.

First we went Camel Back Road. It was drizzling now and then. But a beautiful peaceful walk under the nature will always boost calmness and inner peace. Camel Back Road provides the same experience in Mussoorie. This 3 km long road is named as Camel Back Rd due to the presence of natural layout of rocks shaped like a camels hump at the end of road. Auto-Rickshaw and horse rides are also available for those who are unable to do long walk. For us, on walk was better option(Good for health). But remember, it's a 3 km long walk. If you like to enjoy the nature then my suggestion is walk on your foot. On the way, one could find many small shops, selling tea, maggi, bread-Omelet and momos. One can also view few well known spots in mussoorie using shopkeeper's telescope. For that they could charge you 20-50 bucks. It was drizzling. Here one could enjoy Spend some quality time with your partner. No such hush and fuss, no noise and less crowd. Seat on the chair, take a sip of tea or coffee and enjoy the nature. Road will end at Kulri Bazaar. We spent 3 hours.

Next we went The Mall Road or MG Road. In every hill station, one can find mall road. Till now i have came across only one hill station where no vehicle is allowed i.e. Gangtok, Sikkim. Sit beside Gandhi's Statue and enjoy the scenery of the valley.

Day 2

Happy Valley / Tibetan Buddhist Temple: Then we moved towards our next destination. On the way to this mandir, you will find the LBS-IAS Academy. Stay there for few minutes and pray inside the temple. It has lush green surroundings. Shedup Choephelling Temple is situated on the highest point of the valley atop a cliff. It was the 1st Tibetan shrine to be built in India and was consecrated by Dalai Lama.

Company Garden : It is around 5-6 km from Clarks Inn Hotel. We love to walk, so we started our next destination on foot. Weather was pleasant. On the we were enjoying the nature. One could see greenery everywhere. Sky was blue. We were capturing scenery in our camera. We took 2 hours to reach there. We took 2 entry tickets and went inside the garden. As it was 10 am so the crowd was very less. Main Attraction of this garden are flower gardens, pedal boats, an artificial waterfall & rides & games for kids. The Garden is well maintained by Garden Welfare Association of Mussoorie. One can enjoy their time sitting or strolling or taking photographs in the eclectic lawn of the garden. We stayed there till 1 pm.

Cloud's End Point: Around 500 mts from the Mandir, The Best viewpoint lies i.e. Cloud's End Point which is one of the best place in Mussoorie. Far away from Mussoorie town, this place is a must visit if you want to see the quieter side of Mussoorie. It's a beautiful hill top engulfing by clouds, Surrounded by the Oak and Deodar forest. It's landmark to the geographical end of Mussoorie. A heritage, beautiful architecture Bungalow can be seen from the Cloud's End which was built by Major Edmund Swetenham in 1838. It is one of the oldest building in Mussoorie. And still it's hasn't faded its beauty. From here, you can enjoy the Snow capped Himalayas mountains. As we reached the top and found out that some monks was performing Tibetan's Ritual to the mountains. It was really enjoyable. We stayed till Sunset and enjoyed the panoramic view where one side has oak and Deodar forest and other side has a view of endless Himalayas mountain range. We started back to MG road, there we stayed for few hours.
