A much awaited trip to Kaidarnath is postponed for a week as we have to discharge our responsibility as a citizen of country to cast our vote @ weekend, but on the others side I can't wait for a week for a much needed break .
So , in office through out the day I was thinking how I can travel as well as can visit to my hometown for casting my vote.
As it's Friday so I have no much time to think, as office comes to end I am sure that I will do both travel as well as vote, but how's it's not certain.
While leaving for Room after office I made plan to visit Haridwar and Rishikesh first and then to leave for home town to cast vote.
I reached my room, pack my bag, and then ask my roommate are u interested to join me for Rishikesh, and he said YES, within minutes. So, now I am sure that finally m going.
We packs our Bags, reached Metro station to Board Metro, and then reach ISBT by 10PM.
After taking Dinner at ISBT, we board a private Sleeper bus for Rishikesh ....
Now points to be consider
1. You can board ordinary or semi sleeper bus which are reliable and in which chance of manipulation are nil
2. These private bus tour operator's agents will manipulate you like telling you incorrect time for bus departure, not charging standardized fare, not allocating you seat numbers due to which you have to run to get a seat when bus came
So Be aware, use your mind, don't be in Hurry. Talk to them in clear terms which will avoid later inconvenience.
Our journey in bus was good as my friend run and get into bus first and take 2 seats, and we enjoyed a comfortable Journey.
Bus depoted us at Haridwar in next Morning by 04:00AM.
Once we reached Haridwar Bus Stand, we take Breakfast and then board bus for Rishikesh by 05:00AM because I want to see sun rise at Ram Jhoola or laxma Jhoola.
We reached Rishikesh by 06:00AM, and as we Depot bus , big hoarding informing Rafting , Camping and Bike available on rent attract us, and we started make inquiry regarding that.
Once we finalize our rafting route, Activa for rent, we take a small break for refreshment as we have to go for tracking around 8AM.
Around 09:30 our rafting experience start and it comes to end by 12:30PM.
The entire journey was awesome, each moment is precious as we are experiencing this very first time.
It's 16KM route from Shivpuri to Ram Jhoola consisting many big and smalls Rapids.
Jumping in water especially in Rapids is out of world experience,and then cliff jumping.
These two helps to get a different aspect to see life that is beyond fear.
After completing rafting , we took lunch with our new friends which is also a most important thing that I want to get from my each trip.
These new friends are good , 4 are from our neighbors city and 2 are from our work location.
So , we spent good time together.
After lunch we board bus for Haridwar and by 03:30 we are in Haridwar.
We feel very tired now. so, we took a room near bus stand , took rest for 2 hours and then in evening we went to "Har Ki Pori" for Ganga Aarti.
It's surprising to attend Ganga Aarti at Ganga Aashtmi.
We get blessings of Maa Ganga.
May Maa Ganga purities every heart so that garbage of Hate is replace by Treasure of love.
After Ganga Aarti,one of the most important phase of my trips began that is Tasting Local Foods.
I am inquired about famous Chaat centre of City and then began our journey in those local markets.
We tastes few famous items like Tikki Chat and Dahi Vada from an ancient Shop and then Rabri & Faluda from famous Mathura Wala etc etc.
Tip : Don't miss the chance to go at Mathura Wala near to "Har ki Pori".
After spending some time in local markets , we back to our Room.
Its time to over the trip, Go to sleep with memories as we have to board bus early morning so that we can reach home town timely and cast our votes.
Thats my experience from my small one day trip to get a Break from the work.
