Five Surreal homes around the world, should be a must visit on your bucket list:

1. Hobbit House: Matamata, New Zealand :

Two hours south of Auckland lies the lush farmland of the Hamilton. Famous for dairying and fine thoroughbred horses, it's easy to see why these green pastures and rolling hills were chosen to portray Hobbiton and The Shire.

Hobbit fans can visit the Hobbiton Movie Set on a guided tour; it has more than 44 unique hobbit holes, including Bag End (Bilbo's house). As you wander through the heart of the Shire, you'll get to hear the fascinating commentary about how it was all created.

2. Tiny Igloo Houses , Finland:

The first one was created and built in 1999 by Jussi Erimao. He’s the owner of this unique Igloo Village.

Since people were already coming to the area because they wanted to see the Northern Lights Jussi figured that he’d provide a service for them.

With extremely cold temperatures he figured he would design a place where they can not only stay warm but also enjoy what they came here for–the Northern Lights.

Now, thanks to him, tourists can watch the lights while in bed!

It will cost you around Rs 35K a night!

3. Rock Island House : Serbia :

The Drina river in Balkans is possibly one of the most beautiful bodies of water to ever exist. And what sits atop of a rock in the middle of this scenic place is a tiny home that has stood the test of time, adding to the area's intrigue.

For over 40 years, this small structure has survived the unpredictable Serbian weather and has become a hot spot for tourists lucky enough to take a dip. But how did the unusual home come to be? Well, according to CNTV, the home was built in 1969, a year after a group of young boys were looking for a spot to sunbathe and discovered that the rock was an ideal place for a tiny shelter.

4. Crocohouse, Ivory coast : Completed in 2008, the crocodile was actually the work of artist Moussa Kalo, who sadly died only two months before it was completed. As an apprentice of Kalo, Atta moved into the work the men had created, and has since made the crocodile his home. Including windows and a bed, the strange concrete house is completely livable, and is a joy to many people in the neighborhood who stop by the courtyard to smile and play by the eccentric home.

5. Aero plane House , Costa Rica : This is the most exclusive hotel suite in Costa Rica. They have refurbished a vintage 1965 Boeing 727 air frame, which in its prior life shuttled globetrotters on South Africa Air and Avianca Airlines (Colombia). This fully outfitted, meticulously detailed, two bedroom, Boeing 727 fuselage suite jets out from the jungle canopy, affording you views that will make you feel like you’re flying.
