USA- A pastor has opened the mechanical workshop, " Garaje de Dios ", where a group of volunteers repair free vehicles and donate second-hand cars to women in need.
This idea began, when Pastor Chris Williams was returning from the church on a rainy night in Montgomery, Texas, when he saw a woman and her son on the side of the road after a church service . He approached and asked what they were doing there.
"She told me that her car was in a workshop months ago and I couldn't pay to get it out, " said Chris, 49, at the People site. “So I decided to find a way to realize my dream of opening a free workshop “.
After making loans and donation campaigns , months later, Chris opened the " Garage of God ", a free car repair service for single mothers, widows and military wives.
Since 2012, with the help of volunteers, they have already repaired more than 200 cars at no cost and donated more than 100 refurbished vehicles for women in need.
The pastor launched this idea to help women , because over the years he has heard stories of free cars for single moms dealers and workshops trying to take advantage of single mothers and widows. “Unfortunately, there are people who fool almost anyone.
