IRCTC has introduced an exciting offer for all travellers planning to travel to Sri Lanka. Offering a package of five night and six days, the IRCTC Sri Lanka Package will take you across the country to the beautiful cities of Negombo, Kandy, Nuwara Eliya and Colombo. Commencing from 31st May 2019, the package offers an option of different travel dates throughout the year starting from New Delhi.

The all-inclusive package will include return economy air class tickets and will have an availability of 30 seats in total. The tour starts from Negombo on Day 1 and proceeds to Kandy on Day 2 for local sightseeing and a tour of the famous temples of Munneshwaram and Munawari. Day 3 and 4 includes local sightseeing in Nuwara Eliya with a tour of the Divurumpola Temple, where Sita is said to have undertaken Agni Pariksha and the famous Gregory lake. On the fifth day, the tour proceeds to it’s final destination of Colombo with a city tour and the Pinnawala show. The tour departs from Colombo to New Delhi on the sixth day.

The package includes all transfers and sightseeing in AC buses ,visa and even a travel insurance for citizens below 70 years of age. The package will be available only for Indian citizens though.

The basic package per person starts at Rs. 46,550 per person on a triple sharing, while a twin sharing will cost you Rs. 47,550 per person and a single occupancy of this tour will cost Rs. 61,660. Children between the age of 2-11 years with bed will cost Rs.33450 and between 2-11 years without bed will have to shell out Rs.31500.
