We went on a family trip of 4 nights and 5 days to Thailand. We spent two nights in Pattaya and two nights in Bangkok. On our first night in Pattaya we explored the local market which was near our Hotel. Thailand has an amazing variety of fruits . We also spent time exploring thee biggest mall..... Harvest Festival mall in Pattaya. It has an amazing foodcourt in the basement and a cinema hall on the top floor. Majority of food served here is non vegetarian, but i a vegetarian survived.
The good thing is both the hotels we stayed in is it had Indian food besides Continental and Thai. Thailand attracts a lot of Indian tourists every year.
The second day in Pattaya we went to Coral Island where our daughters tried para sailing. We also tried varuious water sports at the Coral island. The white sandy beach and the crystal clear water makes the Coral islndd a wonderful place to relax
We got to visit the biggest gem shop in the world in Pattaya in a guided tour that explored the history of mining gems and showed us live craftsmen at work. An amazing shop for buying gems jewellery.
The last day was the best of all. We spent an entire day at Safari Village where interacted up close and personal with animals and saw some amazing Orangoutan, Seal, Dolphins show. This is an absolute must for anyone visiting Bangkok.
The ONE thing i liked most about Thailand is the SAFARI VILLAGE and thee accompanying SAFARI PARK where all animals can be seen roaming freely in the park . Thailand is perhaps the most ANIMAL FRIENDLY country in the world. In the Safari Village under the guidance of Rangers you can click pictures with orangoutans, Baby Tiger cubs and colorful parakeets.
We came back with happy memories and loads full of pictures which i am sharing here.
