April first wek is birthday week of my husband so we decided to take a beach break. Ganpatipule,I had in my mine for many days. I suggested him and he agreed after seeing pictures and reading about the place. I found the beach resort and we booked 'Abhishek Beach Report and Spa'.

Day 1

Abhishek Beach Resort And Spa

We went by Car from Pune. It requires 7 hours travel to reach Ganpatipule from Pune. The Nearest District to Ganpatipule is Ratnagiri. You can take train to Ratnagiri and then can go by public transport from Ratnagiri to Ganpatipule. Road travel from starting place is always an option the way we took Car.

We reached by 2 p.m , good that we had late check in of 1 p.m. Hotel property was mesmerising. We checked in and relaxed then we asked for beach they said it will be closed after 5 so we decided to enjoy Swimming Pool. This resort has best of amenities. After swimming pool we went for dinner. We were already impressed with Deck View while we came in. To have dinner with cool breezes and spectacular view of sea even in dark was pleasant experience.

Day 2

Next day morning we arrived for breakfast and deck was looking so spectacular with crystal clear blue water roaring around.

After breakfast we went for some beach soaking. Ganpatipule beaches are very clean and clear. Being less crowed and less commercials these beaches are serene and eternal. We roam around for an hour and two, then we got back to the hotel.

The architectural style is very magnificent. It was less crowded for the time we visited it. After Darshan we roam around the city, it is a small village in Maharashtra. We even went to a local road side hotel tasted their food.

Then we returned to resort, again walked to beach to catch glimpses of Sun set. With a very calm atmosphere and beautiful sunset we said adieu to beach.

Again, our dinner was on deck with beautiful view. On the second day we tried some Malvani Non Veg dishes. Malvan is a Maharashtrian word for Coastal. A local word. Malvani chicken was spicy and very taste. Everyone should taste non veg while visiting Kokan Area.

Next day morning we checked out and headed for Pune with the peace of serene view and calm water.

Water sports activities are also availaible here, which are arranged by MTDC and can be done from Noveber to May. We were looking just 2 days relax kind of beak so we did not go for them this time. We will be heading for it next time.

Hope this will help you to have a great beach break.
