GOA : EVERY TRAVELLER’S DREAM DESTINATION

Goa is an every traveller’s dream paradise. Whether you are a party animal or looking for a secluded space; Goa has got something for everyone. The miles and miles of sandy beaches, monuments, spectacular carnivals, Wildlife Sanctuaries; Goa is a dream destination.

We have started our journey from Delhi. After hectic schedule of office at Friday, we packed our bags and departed at Night from New Delhi To Madgoan, Goa. It was 36 hrs tiring train journey to reached at Madgoan station, Goa in the morning.

The moment we reached there, we hired a cab for 4 days at the price of Rs 1500 per day with 20000 security amount. Then we drive on the way to our Hotel (Kalki Resort) near Baga Beach. Below is the itinerary that we prepared for our epic fun loving journey.

North Goa

First 2 days @North Goa –

Freak out at the most amazing party beaches of the ‘tourist’s paradise’. The party lovers will be delighted visiting Baga Beach, Vagator Beach, Anjuna Beach and Calangute Beach for sure.

Enjoy the jazzy parties, watersports and street food when at the popular beaches of North Goa. As they are famous, the beaches of this part of the town are a bit crowded.

Baga Beach

In Goa it's always better to stay near a beach that's not just popular for it's shores but also has a buzz around it. Baga Beach tops all beaches in North Goa in that sense.

Be it the Titos Lane where you can walk at night aimlessly and do enough pub hopping, to Britos at the beach where you can have a hearty meal, Baga Beach has it all.

Calangute Beach

Picturesque huts make up good choices on the beach. Calangute is known to be a shoppers dream and apparently it is suppose to be a foodies dream place as well.

Anjuna Beach

Anjuna beach is one of the most popular beaches in Goa. This beach is famed for its swaying palms trees, famous flea market and the trance parties. There are a number of parties and themed events that occur along the coastline at Curlie, for a fun night out.

Vagator Beach

The beautiful beach adjoining Anjuna is secluded, crescent shaped and situated on the Caisua bay along the Chapora river basin, in the shadow of Chapora fort. It is a favorite venue for mid night parties.

Aguada Fort

The fort has a splendid view overlooking the sinquerim beach, the arabian sea and whole bunch of greenery, from a top. This place becomes popular after the hype that the Bollywood industry has created here with the movie ‘Dil Chahta Hai’. It’s definitely worth visiting!

After exploring the madness of North Goa , We went ahead to witness the calmness of South Goa.

South Goa

One day @South Goa –

Listen to the sound of the waves at the secluded beaches of South. Unlike the beaches of North Goa, you can relax at the quiet and pristine beaches. Some of the famous beaches of South Goa are Polelom Baech, Butterfly Beach, Majorda Beach where you can enjoy exquisite delicacies at the most elite restaurants.

Colva beach

We hit the Colva beach in the evening which was less crowdy, hardly any shacks by the beach except for one. Go parasailing at Colva Beach. You literally will be on top of the world.

Palolem Beach

Watch the sunset at Palolem Beach. The memories will certainly be indelible.

Dudhsagar Waterfall

One whole day @Dudhsagar -

The magnificent Dudhsagar Waterfall is perched in the high peaks of the Western Ghats and is a sight to behold especially in the monsoons when it is in full and furious flow. From a distance, the waterfall appears like streams of milk rushing down the mountainside.

P.S: Make sure you have spaced out an entire day for this waterfall. Drink enough water, cos after you reach the parking lot, you will find refreshments only once you reach the waterfall arena.

There are a few things you need to remember to pack if you are visiting Goa:

A pair of sandals and a pair of beach slippers
At least 3 pairs of shorts
A couple of swimwear
Shampoo and conditioner (the beach sand feels nice when you are in the sea, not so much when it’s in your hair afterwards)
Sunscreen
A camera ( to capture all those moments, because you might not remember some of them)
Portable (battery powered)
Your driving license most important :)
