Day 1

Goaaaaa!! When we hear about this place, we get the feeling of fun, excitement and a group of friends. It is considered as the party destination of India. The most chilled out place with a variety of things to do. The safest place you can ever visit in India. After reading so much about Goa, I was full of excitement to explore it by myself and as we know Goa plans are successful after frequent cancellations of the previous plannings. I finally got a chance to visit Goa with my Best friend . Though we had only 2 days in our hand but we had decided to utilize our 48 hours in a very efficient way.

To begin with we reached Goa at 10:00 pm and next we booked an airport cab to reach our hotel. You don't have Ola or Uber there, hence you have to rely on taxis. After loads of research, we decided to stay in South Goa at Majestic beach Comforts, which is in Varca area. It took us 2 hours approx to reach our hotel from the airport. we checked into the hotel and were taken aback by its beauty. You sleep to the beautiful sound of waves.

Day 2

It was our first morning in Goa. We woke up early at 6:00 AM and its was so calm at the resort, only you could here was the sound of waves. The resort is having its private beach area with its own shack to rest at and enjoy the view of the sunrise. The beach was so clean and serene with fine sands. People were engaged in different activities like yoga, jogging, cycling and simply strolling by the beach. There were very less people since it was the private beach. you will find only the people living in those resorts on the beach. It was predominantly occupied by foreign travelers. We took a walk across the beach, witnessed the sunrise, went inside the waters and chilled by the shack. the waves were very calm, so it seemed safe to be inside the water for a while. After finishing a beautiful morning by 8:00 AM, we went for our breakfast which was delicious and complementary.

We then got ready, booked a car and went for our day tour of North Goa. First we went to the various famous churches, then to Aguada Fort which is a very beautiful place. After having a great Goan seafood Lunch , we head out for the famous Baga and Calangute beach. It was over crowded, since it was the month of December. After witnessing the beautiful beaches of south Goa in the morning, we were not very much attracted towards the crowded beaches. But that is completely our feeling. People who love to enjoy water sports or a lively scene they can definitely checkout these places.

After chilling by the beach, we went to Tittos lane. It is the most famous lane to enjoy the party and discos. You can enjoy shopping here too. I shopped for few souvenirs and goan flowy dresses. Then we checked in to Tittos Bollywood disco. Food and drinks were complementary and you can dance till your last lest energy. It was a great night. Forget everything and dance to the Bollywood music. It continues till 3:00 AM but we stopped at 1:00 AM because we had to return to our hotel which is down south . We returned to our hotel and slept as we has invested all our energy in dancing. It was the best music and the best dance I had witnessed.

Day 3

The second day, which was our last day at Goa, we woke up and started our morning at the beach only. after a great breakfast, we booked a scooty and planned to visit beached of the Southern Goa. A simple advice for you would be, please book the scooty or bike in advance when you are going in peak seasons. Getting a scooty is very easy at Goa. It costs at max 350 to 500 Rupees per day depending upon the season. And they demand for your driving licence for the same. We started our ride to palolem which was around 37 Km from our resort. After a long ride, we reached Palolem beach and seeing the beauty we were satisfied as it was worth the long journey that we did. we booked a shack there, had a great goan seafood lunch. enjoyed by the shack . After that we entered the water there, it was fun. There were various rides to different islands but we chose to sit by the beach and relax. You can also enjoy water activities here. This beach was mainly occupied by foreigners and Indians were very less in number here. It was clean and beautiful. After spending a great time, we headed back to our resort. On the way we visited Colva beach, enjoyed some street food there and reached our resort. We had our dinner at our resort, they made the fish of our choice. It was delicious and tasty. Took a walk in the resort at night, it was a soothing experience.

Day 4

Departure !!!! we had to catch an early morning flight to Chennai hence we checked out and started our journey for the airport. Though we visited for a very less time but fell in love with Goa. You can party as well as relax here. We tried to touch upon both of its sides but not satisfied. Next time we will keep more time for Goa. Goa gives you everything. We would be planning soon for another trip to Goa and would look forward to stay in the same resort Majestic Beach Comforts ( http://www.majesticcottages.com/ ). We fell in love with the resort and with Goa as well.
