View from Megapode Nest

I fell in love with this place the first time I saw it in 2011 and I knew I had to be here again! Much has changed since then but still, its one of most scenic places in India!

Need to escape city life? Go Andamans.
Have had a heart break? Go Andamans.
Need time for yourself? Go Andamans.
Seeking adventure? Go Andamans.

The beauty and tranquility of this place will help you rejoice the simple lil' pleasures of life. There's peace, there are beautiful beaches and clear blue waters waiting for you to just dive in. And plus, amazing food! =D In short, this place will help you revive <3

I had gone with the purpose of diving, so I stayed with Barefoot and DiveIndia, Havelock! Had a great time! The best time to visit is October-February, specially for diving. Water is crystal clear! Oh yes=) You can also take short one day trips to nearby islands inc, Neil, Ross, Baratarang(good luck with spotting the Jarawas) and not to forget, Barren Isl(only active volcano in India) :o

You couldn't ask for more! <3

I practically have spent all my time here on this small island on both of my trips to the Andamans. It's not very crowded, and makes for a perfect getaway if you hail from a place like Delhi. You don't have cellular connectivity here much-so you can throw away your phones and just enjoy the time of your life! There are three govt ferriers, and some pvt ones too, that leave for Havelock from PB before 2p.m. So if you're arriving post-1pm, you can kiss the ferry good bye and stay overnight in Pb and maybe take the next morning ferry. Also, the ferries are jam-packed at all times of the year, so book your tix in advance!

Its about 20mins away from the Veer Sawarkar Aiport, PB. Great place to stay! Amazing staff! There are a variety of rooms and suites to choose from. It will cater to all your needs. Besides, the jetty is about 2-3kms away, which is a great advantage in PB.

I stayed here in one of the super-cool bamboo huts. New experience. Saves money for low-budget traveler. You must try the Full-moon cafe! It probably serves the best food on the island. You can find anything you love on the menu and the chefs are great!

This is where you need to be if you wanna have a good time diving! Very hospitable staff! I could say they believe in delivering quality, not quantity. So, it is definitely less crowded than DiveIndia. I have dived with both so I can conclude that-they have the very best of instructors. You get special attention as per your needs. All in all, it will be an enriching experience to choose them.
