We were set to go explore the city and see the magnificent Hawa Mahal we have always heard of. We entered the Main Entrance and got our tickets. I was amazed to see the architecture of the place. I will be honest as I say this that I have never seen this kind of detailed architecture. It reflected different color as the sun was shining on it. It was crowded when we visited however that didn't stop us to explore the Mahal to the T. We went to the top and saw the beautiful pink city and got to know the reason behind the color. It is said that the king ordered to paint the city pink to welcome Queen Victoria's husband, Prince Albert, which has defined the city as "Pink City". One can get the full front view of Hawa Mahal from the opposite street. It was a magnificent Palace standing in front of us and wowed us with its beauty every time we glanced at it.
