On 30 November we boarded flight from Mumbai to Delhi
Reached around 9pm @delhi IGI terminal 2 and boarded a metro connected to IGI aiport towards ISBT kashmiri gate, (here 2 metro you need to change
1=Airport Metro Station to new delhi
2= new delhi to kashmiri gate)
Then in isbt we took UPSRTC volvo for Rishikesh.
Better to choose janrath rather than volvo as janrath has more leg space than volvo
(Travel time - 11 pm from kashmiri gate to 5.30 am Rishikesh)
Then from Rishikesh bus stand we travelled till hostel blue jay by tuktuk who charged us 200

-We opted for river rafting on first day and charge was 550 INR for 16 km distance,
Duration - 11am to 1pm
- later we came back to hotel to freshen up
- best part of blue jay hostel was checkin time was 12 pm and we reached to hostel at 7 am in morning, still they allowed us to rest in their big spacious, enthusiastic spacious Hall where every youngster want's his hostel to look like
- we had tea and normal snacks in hostel watching a beautiful pahadi view
- then we rented bikes , here in tapovan you can either het bike from hotel or you can get in tapovan market but you need to have god bargaining skills , in Nov'2019 rate was like 500 for nongear 700 for gears and 850 for royal Enfield
For us, 2 bikes for 800 rs for 2 days and 2k deposit
- Had lunch @ free spirit cafe - 400 for 3 persons, food was good but better was sunset view on gangs river
- then we attended Ganga arti at triveni ghat , arti starts at around 5 pm and ends till 6/6.30

We had a breakfast in hostel and went to Jumpin heights for activities like bunjee jumpin , giant swing flying fox. Remember to reach their office by as early as possible to attend first batch as it takes around 3-4 hours in your entire activity . Each activity round charges 3500 plus 900 for video playback . If you will reach till 12 pm noon you surely will waste your entire day.
Completing our Adventure activities we reached to Parmarth Niketan to attend Ganga arthi, that atmosphere was something energetic and ritual that even if you don't believe on worshipping god , you loose your soul for moment when you attend arti
Later we went to free spirit cafe , food and ambiance was nice ... One thing you should note that , in Rishikesh you will see varieties of western food and even Indian dishes will be less spicy and less masaledar, it's because locals give preference to foreigners and prepare food as per their requirement
In search of indian taste we went to Madras cafe, and had breakfast there.
Later we headed to Neer gurda waterfall, this is under government property so you need to pay 60 rs as an entry fee , and road towards waterfall will take around next 15-20 minutes.
Waterfall is devided in 3 part's in a form of ponds only ... And it will approximately take 35-45 minutes of trek to reach last waterfall pond . One can even enjoy maggi noodles seating on chair in a pond ... Amazing experience it was.
Later in evening we went to triveni ghat to attend ganga pooja .
One day 4 we headed to Rishikesh bus stand early in morning for our return journey to delhi .
