First thing which comes to mind when we plan to travel is where to go and where to stay. Being a frequent traveller i prefer staying in a hostel or homestay. Its not just that they are reasonable and nice but also you kind of meet a lot of travellers. Hostels are always on my preferable stay list as they provide a great atmosphere of travel stories by everyone who we meet..
So this time i prefered to travel to delhi from my home city which is Chandigarh. It takes 4-5 hours to reach delhi. I had a comfortable journey in shatabdi which i boarded at 7:45 from chandigarh station.
After reaching delhi i called the hostel guy and he told me to come at Saket metro and from their the hostel is just a stone away. I reached the hostel around 12:30 and quickly checked in. The hostel is located on the third floor of the buidling and thank god they have lift. So i kept the bags near the bed alloted to me and quickly freshened up. I had a bloggers meetup on that particular day and time. So finally i reched the place on time which was 5 metro stations away.
So talking about the hostel its a homestay type of hostel. The place has a lift so you dont need to climb upto third floor. There are 2 mixed rooms , 1 female room and 1 private room so total of 4 rooms. The terrace has a common room which can be used by everyone who wants to watch tv or play games or even read a book. The food is just like home and is nice in taste. The staff is super friendly and polite in nature. They are helpful and quite interactive. Coming to the room rates the mixed room costs ₹400 and female cost ₹500. These are the prices excluding breakfast and with breakfast the cost is just ₹50 more so its ₹450 n ₹550 respectively. The price of private room is ₹2000 per night which includes dinner , breakfast and complimentory tea n coffee. All the rooms have AC but only private room has TV. There is one television in common room as well. They provide all the three meals but you need to inform them before hand so they can prepare it. The hostel has wifi accessablity so no need to worry if your mobile data is not giving good speed. Open mic, standup comedies and kareoke nights happen now and then on weekends which are full of fun, friends and food drinks. The bathrooms are clean and common so keeping this in mind they are well maintained by the staff. So overall a nice and cute lil place for travellers who travel on budget. This hostel is for them. Booking can be done from goibibo, makemytrip, hostelworld, booking.com and also on the official page of the hidein hostel. So when ever you plan for delhi make sure to visit this hostel and enjoy the place. Happy travelling. Cheers ..
