How a 26 year old celebrated his birthday

Mission accomplished!

This month I celebrated my B'day and as someone I know, who has coined the term "Being ninja about Birthdays", I proudly confess to be one. I really wanted to make some random strangers day and spread joy. Hell, there could have been no better way than this: Letting the homeless kids and their family cut the cake followed by a good meal!

We all are usually so extravagant about our birthdays, that "birthday celebrations" often burns a hole in the pocket and I am not against it. Sure celebrate it the way you want to. But even if you could take a tiny part of the all the expenses you plan to make, and feed the homeless people with one good meal, I think we would receive more honest birthday wishes and blessings. More than birthday wishes, its about you spreading smiles!

Giving it a different perspective, simply including them as a part of the meal that you plan to have on your special occasion. Need not be from a very expensive or 5-star hotel. Even a well to do restaurant would suffice, for they aren't even blessed with the basic necessities of life.

Dear folks, even if we have 10 people doing this, you're spreading smiles across 10 homeless families. Give this a thought. As I am writing this, I already know two people who are doing the same on their birthday.
