Amsterdam!! The best place to be!!
I had spent 3 days in Amsterdam with my Family in the month of June.
June is the best season to go to Amsterdam as the weather is nice, chill and pleasant.
This place has its own charm in Every corner of the city.
Day 1
We landed in Amsterdam from New Delhi at around 11:00am. After collecting our luggages we went to a counter at the airport and took a 48hours public transportation pass. This pass was valid for tram, metro, buses etc.
We had booked Meninger hotel. The hotel check in time was 2.00pm. We checked in and rested for a while so that we could be fresh and ready for the evening.
The hotel is just 10 steps from the nearest metro and 20 steps from the nearest bus stop. The hotel has a comman kitchen and laundry area. So just in case you want to cook something you can do that. There is a supermarket 100 metres from the hotel. So we had a quick lunch and went out in the evening.
We went to Amsterdam central. Trust me the evening life of Amsterdam is once in a lifetime experience.
We walked around munching whatever street foods available around.
Day 2
We went to the Anne Frank's house.
One important tip, book the tickets in advance so that you do not have to wait in the long que. We had spent almost half the day in the house.
Must see Anne Frank's house.
Evening we had beer, fries with cheese etc. And took a stroll around.
Day 3
If you are interested in art and paintings then you must visit Van Gogh museum. You can spend half a day and have a look at the beautiful paints. Every painting has a history to say. But you should be interested to know. 😂😂
As everyone knows that Amsterdam has a lisenced RDL. One must visit that place. The place completely safe to walk around even if you are alone. Remember not to click photographs and pls don't ogle at the beautiful ladies. Well as you walk in RDL you can smell fresh Mar..... Around. Which is also legal. 😅
Remember to have space cake so that you get the feeling of being in space.
Same evening also took a canal cruise. It was quite an amazing one as it will take you around the entire city.
