1. It's always much better to book your visit that co-incides with the Full moon night. Though charges in tent city becomes higher during full moon night, but it still makes for an unforgettable experience. The white rann under a full moon is ethereal. It feels like you are watching the moon from the moon. It's an absolute experience to be had here. Apart from that the music festival during full moon nights invites the best bands and singers, so you re in for a sumptuous treat.
2. Yes the food is veg, there so no alcohol available as it's a dry state. It's not a place to party with your friends but a place to retreat and connect with nature or the people you are with. I am in Love with Gujrati Food though and the food variety and taste offered at rann utsav is second to none.
3. Dehydration is a very serious and common issue here, so remember to stay adequately hydrated always .
4. ATM isn't available nearby, so it would be worthwhile to carry some cash. Though UPI is available in soke places but not all.
5. The schedule is quite packed, so it won't be a leisure vacation, but a trip full of enriching experiences and enchanting Landscape.
6.Carry extra space in your luggage, since you certainty are going to buy something from the beautiful handicraft and clothes made by local artisans.
