Ootacamund or Ooty, located in the Nilgiri Hills in Tamil Nadu is well connected by good roads to Tamil Nadu, Kerala and Karnataka via five Nilgiri Ghat Roads and another road from Mettupalayamin Coimbatore District via Kotagiri.
