We had been to Goa in the monsoons, when Goa is considered to be in its best show. The vibrant colors of the dresses of the local Goa public, their food, their festivals and of course the monsoon all were in their mood. We met a lot of local families while traveling from one corner to another of the Goa and liked the way the people treat the tourists. Goa being a popular tourist spot of India definitely has a taste for the visitors. We stayed at Calangute, which is in the north part of the Goa, in Hard rock hotel. This was a wedding invitation of a close friend who was being married on 28 July with the best friend of my husband at Hard rock hotel. I was accompanied with my two kids and my husband.

The wedding happened beautifully where my wife almost cried when the bride walked to the aisle with her father. The wedding was planned excellently, from food, the sitting arrangement to table decoration, everything was planned and arranged by the hotel. From our experiences of traveling and visiting other places in Goa, my opinion is this was one of the best place to get married. The hotel staff were very polite and professional. The rooms, pools and spa was excellent. This was by far the best wedding venue in Goa.

We stayed for around 10 days, as we planned to turn this wedding invitation into a holiday trip. We visited to almost all prominent places of Goa, from Dudhsagar falls to the spice plantation, the churches, museum and cathedral in Old Goa, Calangute and Margao markets, Colva, Benoaulim, Palolem and Candolim beaches. We also visited the temples at Ponda and Sanguem. The waterfalls of Sangugem were beautiful. We also visited to Verna aquariums, and Bhagwan Mahaveer Wildlife sanctuary where to got a chance to witness a tiger. The kids were all excited as this was the first time we saw a tiger in person who was not in a cage. The markets in Arpora were awesome with colorful stalls and beautiful display.

We had our best time.
