One more time I am sharing a story from a place in Madhya Pradesh i.e. Sonagiri.

Sonagiri is situated about 70 km from Gwalior, has scores of Jain temples of 9th & 10th century on little hills. This sacred place is popular among devotees & ascetic saints to practice for self-discipline, austerity and to attain Nirvana since the time of Chandraprabhu (the 8th Teerthankar), five & half crores of ascetic saints have achieved Moksa from here.

How to reach: Sonagiri is situated on Gwalior - Jhansi Highway, around 70 Km from Gwalior in Datia District. There is a Railway Station in Sonagiri, passenger trains have stop at Sonagiri. One can also reach there by Bus or by there own vehicle. Bus of Sonagiri Kshetra is available at Sonagiri Railway Station.Road – On Dabra-Datia Road Sonagiri stands, Kshetra is 5 km ahead from here. This also lies on Gwalior-Jhansi Road. Tempo & Tongaes are available here for Kshetra.
Train – Sonagiri Railway Station lies on Agra-Jhansi line. Kshetra is 3 km ahead from here.

This sacred place is popular among devotees & ascetic saints to practice for self discipline, austerity and to attain Nirvana (Salvation) since the time of Bhagwan Chandraprabhu (The 8th Teerthankar), Five & half Crores of ascetic saints have achived salvation (Moksha or Nirvana) from here.
The Samavsharan of Bhagwan Chandraprabhu came here for 17 times. Nang, Anang, Chintagati, Poornachand, Ashoksen, Shridatta, Swarnbhadra and many other saints achieved salvation from here.
This is the unique place known as Laghu Sammed Shikhar covering the area of 132 acres of two hills. There are 77 beautiful Jain temples with sky high spires, Temple No. 57 is main among them.

Kund-Kund Nagar 45 normal room 45 deluxe rooms, Mess facility, all other required items like utensils, bed, tent etc. available.
Others – Three Jain Mess.
