Reaching Gangtok from New jalpaiguri station- we took a wbtc bus to reach Gangtok. As we had booked a hotel online we didnt have to look for any option to stay there at night. Gangtok is a beautiful city which has few spots for tourist attraction. MG marg is of it.
Roaming around Gangtok can give you a mesmerising and different kinda experience as it has few tourist attractions

Way to Lachung-we started our trip to Lachung in the morning at 9am
There are various sites that comes in the way to Lachung like Seven sister waterfall, Singhik viewpoint, Naga waterfall. We reached Lachung in the evening and checked in at a hotel which comes under the package where you can have a delicious dinner and indulge in a peaceful overnight stay
Thrilling Journey to Yumthang valley- After having a fulfilling breakfast meal we resumed our Journey to Yumthang Valley also known as the valley of flowers. On the way back, you can visit the Rhododendron flower sanctuary and hot springs. After that we returned back to our hotel and left for Gangtok.
Excursion to North Sikkim ( Tsongmo lake, Baba Mandir, Nathula pass) -
After the breakfast that morning we went for a day excursion to the oval shaped Tsongmo lake which is 40km from the Gangtok which is also a home to brahminy duck and several other migratory birds. And then we went to visit second highest mountain pass, Nathula pass which is an open trade Indo-China border. Post this we travelked to Baba Mandir dedicated to war hero, Baba Harbhajan Singh. We returned back to Gangtok that evening and after an overnight stay our trip ended with returning back to my workplace kolkata.
