One of the most important tourist spots of Komodo Island is its glorious pink beach.

I will recommend you to first make a trip to Komodo National Park before visiting this amazing and unique beach situated west of Flores island in East Nusatenggara.

The beach is named as Pink beach due to its appearance. It looks pink due to amalgamation of white sand combined with red sand, formed from pieces of Foraminifera.

The beach is also known as Red Beach.

Upon your arrival, enjoy swimming here as it will literally make you feel like a fish. It is a perfect place for snorkeling due to crystal-clear water and colorful coral reefs. During my trip, I found many local people enjoying barbecue and listening to popular Hindi film songs.🙂

I was in no mood to leave this glorious beach, but unfortunately I had to.

How to reach here: One can reach here through a speedboat, which you can hire at the Labuano Bajo port. And don't forget to carry water bottle and sunscreen lotion before visiting this place !
