Day 1
Irshalgad is a fortress located between Matheran and Panvel in Maharashtra, India. It is a sister fort to Prabalgad. The area of the fort is not large but there are several water cisterns cut from the rock. The nearest village is Irshalwadi. I had done this trek with a friend. We started from Mulund station and reached Panvel station by train. From Panvel ST stand we took ST bus and got down to chowk station. From there we went to Base village (irshalwadi) by auto. We took almost 2 hrs to reach at top.
