Jaipur is a fascinating and aesthetically striking place.I have had a love affair with Jaipur for the past 3 years now. This flamboyant city offers a range of gastronomical experiences for every person who comes to the city. Here are a few restaurants which stand to the touristy buzz.
1. 1135 AD
This restaurant lives up to its name. The imperial ambience with royal chairs and majestic tables form a perfect fairy tale setting. The elegant decor and dreamy outdoors weave a perfect ambience to see the sunset. Their menu comprises a mix of Mughlai, Rajasthani and North Indian delights. You can get your dose of royalty by eating food out of silver spoons. The Lal Maas here is highly recommended.

2. Anokhi Cafe
This organic food café has established its own loyal following. This cheerful bistro with monastic simplicity offers a great place for informal get-togethers and your evening tea. 3. Laxmi Mishtan Bhandar
Kachoris, mirchi vadas, ghewars, Dal baati churma and the typical Rajasthani Thali- this place is the epicenter of Rajasthani cuisine. Just around the corner of the crowded Johari Bazaar, LMB is the epitome of perfection.

4. Tapri Central
The tea culture has definitely taken Jaipur by a storm. Tapri is one such place where you'll fall in love with the varieties of tea. The menu is a mix of fusions and some other quick bites. Cheese Puchkas and Pesto Khakra Pizzas are worth trying.

5. Rawat Mishtan Bhandar
Rawat ki kachori... The three words sum it all. If you are a fan of street food, this is the perfect place to try the crispy crunchy deep fried kachoris. It is a good idea to pack truckloads for you for your relatives and friends back home.

The old world charm of this place will put you at instant ease. The Jungli Maas, keema baati and Laal Maas will leave you craving for more.

Chokhi Dhani is synonymous with Rajasthani village culture. It is located a little on the outskirts of the city on the Tonk Road. If you are looking for an experience, this is the place to head to.The village offers myriad entertainment options- folk dances, camel rides, puppet shows, fortune-tellers, acrobatics, predicting parrots, magic shows, horse riding, boating etc.
Pro tip: Reach this place by late afternoon or early evening in order to have a spectacular experience.

8. Peacock Restaurant
This multilevel rooftop restaurant is recommended by the Lonely Planet. Dedicated to the national bird peacock, the romantic settings of this place make it a first rate restaurant.
