Most of the people knows and have experienced the beauty of Kashmir valley and it is undoubtedly one of the most beautiful place on the earth.

This was my second travel to Kashmir after approximately 10 years and the major change i noticed was significant increment in the number of tourists. The most famous tourist places in Kashmir apart from Leh, Ladakh are Pahalgam, Gulmarg, Sonmarg & Srinagar.

We were 3 couples with 2 children and had great time in Kashmir. Many people after our visit asked us about safety, so i want to highlight that almost all the people we asked about safety told us that Kashmir is really safe for Tourists and we ourselves felt that, A big Thank you & Salute to our Indian Army who is doing really tough and great job in ensuring this. Most of the people we met were helpful and cooperative but proper rules or system needs to be made in places like Gulmarg ,where they do not allow vehicle entry beyond a point(tourists are forced to take pony ride) and also Que system near gondola needs proper supervision.

I would recommend staying in Swiss tents when visiting Gulmarg , It will be lifetime experience. Do visit Kashmir once and your trust on news and media will be reduced for sure. #Vaishnodevi #Gulmarg #Pahalgam #Srinagar
