I booked cab from Bangalore to Ooty which cost me around 3000 rupees. I decided to go in the morning around 06:00AM from Bangalore.
Best time to visit Ooty start from October only so I choose to go in October only. I would suggest to take route of Bandipur which is very beautiful and you can see many animals in Bandipur forest...
Ooty weather is chilling and roamantic and morning time very cogy.
There are many places to visit in Ooty and near by like Ooty city,Botincal garden,Connor Dedobetta peak, Teak garden,Rose garden and Payakara Lake.
If you want to spend less on hotels you can choose many Oyo hotels or Homestay. And if you are going with couple choose decent hotels or resort to make your trip awesome.
Day 1 we started from Bangalore and reached Ooty by 03:00 PM we took 4 short break as well and we experienced forest views as well.. after reaching hotel we took rest and then we explored the Ooty city
Day to we book shared mini bus for sightseeing which cost around 700 per person..you can book your self or you can ask your hotel they will also book on behalf of you..Then they will pick you from your hotel directly or from pick up point. You can also book cab for sightseeing which will cost you around 2000+ rupees.
Day 2 we explored Tea garden, Chocolate factory, Coonoor, Ooty lake and Botincal garden.
It's was awesome experience. If you want enjoy the company you can book mini bus or if you have your car you can enjoy with your group.
