Being a flower and valley lover, how can you miss Kaas Pathar, which is located in Satara, in Sahyadri Cluster of the Western Ghats. It falls under the Sahyadri Sub Cluster of the Western Ghats, and it became a part of a UNESCO World Natural Heritage Site in 2012.

We traveled from Kalyan to Kaas Pathar which took around 7-8hrs to reach, with 2 halts. We reached in the afternoon.

Weekends are more crowded. You have an option to pre-book it, as there are some limitation on the daily visit. Booking opens from Sept until mid of October. You can also take the ticket post reaching the Entry Point.

If you are getting your own vehicle, you can park at the paid parking. Then they have paid tempo traveler every 10 mins which would take you to different gates of Kaas Pathar.
